About the instructor:

M. Caglar Somek has twelve years of equity research experience in Asian and global financials, commodities and industrials sectors. Prior to joining Caravel, Mr. Somek was Vice President, Senior Investment Research Analyst for Goldman Sachs Asset Management International (2007-2008), Salomon Brothers Asset Management (2005-2007) and Credit Suisse First Boston (2000-2005). He was a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst at Stern Stewart & Co. (1999-2000). Caglar is fluent in Turkish and French, is a CFA charterholder with MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University and a BS in Economics from Universite de Paris Dauphine.
