About the instructor:
Naveen Chandramohan started Itus Capital in 2017 as an asset management firm investing in the public equities in India. Itus has grown over the last 6 years into a firm managing USD 150mm in capital across 400 families in India and globally. At Itus, Naveen runs a growth oriented fund investing in promoters or management teams with a focus on return on invested capital. The analysts at Itus work closely with the management building meaningful long-term relationships with their portfolio companies. Itus has a 6 year track record and is one of the most consistent funds in the country delivering a CAGR of 19.6% net returns to the investors over the same period. Today, Itus has offices across Chennai and Houston.
Prior to setting up Itus, Naveen managed money as a Portfolio manager across 8 years with his last role at Hutchin Hill where he was their Responsible Officer and a Portfolio Manager heading their Hong kong office. As a fund manager, he was the recipient of the best fund manager award by Asia hedge for 3 years in a row. He began his career in Lehman Brothers in Tokyo and has worked across Lehman and Nomura in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Naveen did his engineering in BITS Pilani and graduated from IIM Bangalore as a gold medalist.
