Scott serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager of Equity Investments at Vaughan Nelson Investment Management, L.P. He joined Vaughan Nelson in 2003 and founded the firm’s Select strategy in 2009. Previously, he was an investment banker at RBC Capital Markets and Deutsche Bank and a treasury analyst at Freeport-McMoran. Current and past affiliations include CFA Institute, Houston Society of Financial Analysts, St. John the Divine Memorial Endowment Fund – President, Coastal Conservation Association of Texas’ Endowment Board and STAR Tournament Committee, Alumni Executive Board of The University of the South and Burkenroad Advisory Board at Tulane University. Scott earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2001, received an MBA from Tulane University in 1997 and a BS degree from The University of the South in 1994.
