Shawn Kravetz of Esplanade Capital shared his perspective in a Q&A session at our special event, Intelligent Investing in Crisis Mode 2020.
Shawn discussed his firm’s investment process in the context of the current market environment. He explained why he does not ignore severely beaten down stocks but selectively looks for opportunity in companies that have downside risks but also offer potential multi-bagger upside.
Shawn highlighted Dave & Buster’s Entertainment (Nasdaq: PLAY) as an idea that may offer a favorable risk-reward and may deserve closer examination. He also updated his investment thesis on Century Casinos (Nasdaq: CNTY).
