About the instructor:

Francis Daniels has over 15 years experience investing in Africa. He is a director of Africa Opportunity Partners, the investment manager of the Africa Opportunity Fund, a closed-end investment company traded on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange. He has served on several boards of Africa-related companies, including Uramin Inc., a company formed to develop uranium deposits in Africa before its acquisition by Areva in 2007. He is a member of the boards of directors of TA Holdings, a Zimbabwean stock-exchange listed company, and Masawara PLC, a company admitted to trading on the AIM Market. Francis is an attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York. He holds a LL.B degree from the University of Ghana, a LL.M degree from the University of Toronto, and a LL.M degree and a LL.M (Corporations) degree from New York University Law School. He is currently based in Johannesburg.
