About the instructor:

Bhupinder “Pope” Brar is the Managing Partner of the Brar Investment Fund that invests in value-oriented and special-situation equities. While at Brar, Pope developed an extensive 90+ item checklist based on mistakes of great investors such as Warren Buffett, Seth Klarman, Peter Lynch, and others. Prior to founding the Brar Investment Fund, Pope worked as an investment analyst for ING Investment Management covering specialty & basic chemicals, agriculture, and building materials equities. Prior to ING, Pope was an investment banker at the Royal Bank of Scotland and the ABN AMRO/Rothschild JV. Pope has been a student of investing for over 15 years. He earned his degree in International Economics from Erasmus University School of Economics in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. He has lived and worked in Europe and North America, in addition to traveling extensively in Asia and growing up in a Punjabi-Indian household. He speaks English, Punjabi, Spanish, and Dutch. Pope practices meditation to attain focus and inner peace. He enjoys spending time with his family and doing charitable work.
