Edgar “Ed” Wachenheim III of Greenhaven Associates joined MOI Global members for a LIVE Q&A session at our special event, Intelligent Investing in Crisis Mode 2020. Ed shared his perspective on this turbulent moment.

Ed put the current market upheaval into historical context (to the extent possible!) and discussed his investments in the banking and housing sectors. He talked about how he intends to deploy Greenhaven’s large cash position going forward. He shared his take on several companies, including Citigroup (NYSE: C), Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS), and Whirlpool (NYSE: WHR).

Ed is a giant of the investment business, having founded Greenhaven Associates in 1987. He is the author of Common Stocks and Common Sense.

In 2016, we had the pleasure of interviewing Ed at his offices in Rye, New York. In 2018, Ed participated in the Latticework summit, hosted by MOI Global. He shared his wisdom and insights in a conversation with Saurabh Madaan.

The full session is available exclusively to members of MOI Global.
